Privacy notice

Last updated 23 August 2026

This notice explains what personal information SourceDirect collects when you ask us for a quote or buy from us, what we do with it, and the rights you have over it. It covers this website and the way we handle enquiries by WhatsApp and email.

1. Who we are

SourceDirect is a trading name of [REGISTERED COMPANY NAME] Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number [00000000], registered office [REGISTERED OFFICE ADDRESS, POSTCODE]. We are the data controller for the information described here.

For anything about this notice or your data, contact [email protected], or write to us at the registered office address above.

We do not ask for and do not want payment card details, identity documents, or any special category data such as health information. Please do not send them to us.

3. How the quote form works

The form on our website does not send anything to a server of ours. When you press the button, your browser assembles the details you typed into a message and hands it to WhatsApp or to your email program. Nothing leaves your device until you choose one of those and send it yourself.

This means we only ever receive what you deliberately send, and we receive it through WhatsApp or email rather than through this website.

5. Who else sees it

To fill an order we have to pass on parts of it. We share the minimum needed, and only with:

6. Sending information outside the UK

We operate between the United Kingdom and Zimbabwe, so your details will be seen by our delivery desk in Bulawayo and by customs agents and couriers in Zimbabwe. Zimbabwe is not covered by a UK adequacy decision, so these transfers rely on Article 49(1)(b) of the UK GDPR: the transfer is necessary to perform the contract you have asked us to carry out.

We keep transfers to what the shipment actually requires.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would rather you came to us first so we can put it right.

9. Cookies and tracking

This website sets no cookies. It runs no analytics, no advertising pixels, and no third-party tracking scripts. Nothing about your visit is recorded or profiled by us.

The one external request the site makes is to Google Fonts, which serves the typefaces the page is set in. Google receives your IP address as part of that request. If we later add analytics or any other tracking, we will publish a cookie banner and update this section before switching it on.

Plain version: we are not watching you. There is nothing to accept or reject.

10. Changes to this notice
